TEACHING EXPERIENCE:  California State University, Northridge
FOUNDATIONS OF MEDIA WRITING (CTVA 220): introductory course covering basic story structure and formatting for long form, sitcom, two-column video and radio.  Students develop and write an original 30 page screenplay.  2004 – 2009

WRITING FOR TELEVISION & FILM (CTVA 320):  intermediate screenwriting,
focus on story structure using note cards, character development, and advanced formatting.  Students must complete a 60 page original screenplay, or the pilot for an original one-hour television drama.  (2007-2008)

WRITING EPISODIC ONE-HOUR DRAMA (595): using professional techniques and procedures students pitch, develop and write a spec episode of an existing one-hour drama.  Open to screenwriting majors only, seniors and graduate students.  Spring 2006 – 2009
